Eliminates cases where sync can race and fail to complete / get stuck. Removes many status flags and simplifies entering-and-exiting closure sleeping behaviors. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``.
