Each NAND page consist of multiple codewords. Following is sequence for NAND page read according to hardware guide. 1. Program Power-up configuration, page row, page column address and flash configuration registers. 2. Write NAND_FLASH_CMD followed by NANC_EXEC_CMD for each codeword. 3. Read NAND_FLASH_STATUS for each codeword. The step 1 should be done once for each page and step 2,3 should be done for each codeword. Currently, all the 3 steps are being done for each codeword which is wrong. Now this patch reorganizes read page functions to configure page specific register once and per codeword specific registers for each NAND ECC step. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
