In `amdgpu_dm_update_backlight_caps()`, there is a local `amdgpu_dm_backlight_caps` object that is filled in by `amdgpu_acpi_get_backlight_caps()`. However, this object is uninitialized before the call and hence the subsequent check for aux_support can fail since it is not initialized by `amdgpu_acpi_get_backlight_caps()` as well. This change initializes this local `amdgpu_dm_backlight_caps` object to 0. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
