A fix to the handling of misaligned paste instructions (P9 only), where a change to a #define has caused the check for the instruction to always fail. The preempt handling was unbalanced in the radix THP flush (P9 only). Though we don't generally use preempt we want to keep it working as much as possible. Two fixes for IMC (P9 only), one when booting with restricted number of CPUs and one in the error handling when initialisation fails due to firmware etc. A revert to fix function_graph on big endian machines, and then a rework of the reverted patch to fix kprobes blacklist handling on big endian machines. Rao, Nicholas Piggin, Paul Mackerras. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAABAgAGBQJZ/ASDAAoJEFHr6jzI4aWAtWYP/34uCIJ83roZHfBdASGcczeO AEOnxZdVdAB6ynU0eM2JSlJMhx39mqT5qJQP4ucUlqNa+SHhFxTW4EmoQm/qAr9N 4xhwix6OAsMleiPJx+RGGAnKB8rFhUEYH/+cql67FAq3u8zRbAdurR/A1lnIAY9x 2bQ85GsjFlRSFdmSohXegBJ7Xey3QE3jpj+co3dAEm3JQVRHNpGqgvRy8yeowvod c/hHH7vmdKyDCZDtS5uF/egZOJLK1mueVuV69O0KKxT7xtEKk1cjFB08aHhcuJDm QIk5Efr8iCbn4EyRBzthij7YJ0VPBTNCmsGcf6RorrYv3hT0uN72qQPjg13WH7HY wkdMtkQvaFLbnZDqOxm9saczE27Ce7QNe1PNh6eapNlunz2nsb8Z/SvSyqskK3Yh 5cBxHrfi+NcJHvdDAJNobNoJ3vlTJGI0qQ/dSexJsXxZw2zR3tPojRKCtK0pZGql xKDSqU7AbuUhLMxVBDDSQ+KONwyaBS84baLc98dapflw7htGWU339c5f9JTmnGvZ 7fWT3hNihAmZNZZ957BC5J0h5kgkKgZ7y67SA/+RI0o2ZoJlxoeDYAyqc7dwfvs+ ncxG4S6okSQP/EHf9bRSdYeJsZup/zP7+wD+02cbJd5zFJ+6cfu0AhPDRcBNMjHg EPkZvfZzRxTlGvmHCoWv =vTi1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'powerpc-4.14-6' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/powerpc/linux Pull powerpc fixes from Michael Ellerman: "Some more powerpc fixes for 4.14. This is bigger than I like to send at rc7, but that's at least partly because I didn't send any fixes last week. If it wasn't for the IMC driver, which is new and getting heavy testing, the diffstat would look a bit better. I've also added ftrace on big endian to my test suite, so we shouldn't break that again in future. - A fix to the handling of misaligned paste instructions (P9 only), where a change to a #define has caused the check for the instruction to always fail. - The preempt handling was unbalanced in the radix THP flush (P9 only). Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
