22c033989c include/linux/unaligned: replace kernel.h with the necessary inclusions
When kernel.h is used in the headers it adds a lot into dependency hell,
especially when there are circular dependencies are involved.

Replace kernel.h inclusion with the list of what is really being used.

The rest of the changes are induced by the above and may not be split.

51395cf204 wcn36xx: Add SNR reporting via get_survey()
Add support for get_survey() reporting. Current channel and noise-floor are
reported, other parameters such as scan, busy, TX and RX time are not
immediately available.

Noise is a useful metric to report, so bring it out now.

29696e0aa4 wcn36xx: Track SNR and RSSI for each RX frame
The BDs for each RX frame contain both the RSSI and SNR for the received
frame. If we track and store this information it can be useful to us in
get_survey() and potentially elsewhere.

d6f2746691 wcn36xx: Track the band and channel we are tuned to
Track the band and channel we are currently tuned to by way of pointers to
the standard structures that describe them both embedded within the driver.

Tracking of the pair makes it much easier when implementing
ieee80211_ops->get_survey to return quickly captured metrics for the
currently tuned channel.

039d5d4db4 wcn36xx: Implement get_snr()
The wcn36xx BD phy descriptor returns both Received Signal Strength
Information (RSSI) and Signal To Noise Ratio (SNR) with each delivered BD.

The macro to extract this data is a simple-one liner, easily imported from
prima driver. This data will be useful to us when implementing
mac80211-ops->get_survey().

6bae9de622 ath10k: abstract htt_rx_desc structure
QCA6174 card often hangs with the current htt_rx_desc
memory layout in some circumstances, because its firmware
fails to handle length differences.
Therefore we must abstract the htt_rx_desc structure
and operations on it, to allow different wireless cards
to use different, unrelated rx descriptor structures.

Define a base htt_rx_desc structure and htt_rx_desc_v1
for use with the QCA family of ath10k supported cards
and htt_rx_desc_v2 for use with the WCN3990 card.

Define htt_rx_desc_ops which contains the abstract operations
to access the generic htt_rx_desc, give implementations
for each card and update htt_rx.c to use the defined
abstract interface to rx descriptors.

d17efe4f80 wcn36xx: Use platform_get_irq_byname() to get the interrupt
platform_get_resource_byname(pdev, IORESOURCE_IRQ, ..) relies on static
allocation of IRQ resources in DT core code, this causes an issue
when using hierarchical interrupt domains using "interrupts" property
in the node as this bypasses the hierarchical setup and messes up the
irq chaining.

In preparation for removal of static setup of IRQ resource from DT core
code use platform_get_irq_byname().

dc7ff75690 ath11k: Reconfigure hardware rate for WCN6855 after vdev is started
There is an issue that WCN6855 tries to connect to an AP using
a hardware rate of 1Mb/s , even though the AP has announced
expected rates as [24, 36, 48, 54] in Probe Response frame.

The reason is that WCN6855 firmware clears hardware rate info
of management frames when vdev starts and uses 1Mb/s as default.
To solve it, reconfigure the rate after vdev is started.

a063b650ce ath: dfs_pattern_detector: Avoid open coded arithmetic in memory allocation
kmalloc_array()/kcalloc() should be used to avoid potential overflow when
a multiplication is needed to compute the size of the requested memory.

kmalloc_array() can be used here instead of kcalloc() because the array is
fully initialized in the next 'for' loop.

Finally, 'cd->detectors' is defined as 'struct pri_detector **detectors;'.
So 'cd->detectors' and '*cd->detectors' are both some pointer.
So use a more logical 'sizeof(*cd->detectors)'.

dff39ad93d ath5k: fix ah_txq_isr_txok_all setting
The struct ath5k_hw member ah_txq_isr_txok_all is never reset/assigned
outside of ath5k_hw_get_isr() and with the used bitwise-or in the
interrupt handling accumulates all ever set interrupt flags.

Fix this by clearing ah_txq_isr_txok_all before assigning.

Patch tested with Senao NMP-8602 card

  ath5k: phy6: Atheros AR5413 chip found (MAC: 0xa4, PHY: 0x61)

Pull signal/exit/ptrace updates from Eric Biederman:
 "This set of changes deletes some dead code, makes a lot of cleanups
  which hopefully make the code easier to follow, and fixes bugs found
  along the way.

  The end-game which I have not yet reached yet is for fatal signals
  that generate coredumps to be short-circuit deliverable from
  complete_signal, for force_siginfo_to_task not to require changing
  userspace configured signal delivery state, and for the ptrace stops
  to always happen in locations where we can guarantee on all
  architectures that the all of the registers are saved and available on
  the stack.

  Removal of profile_task_ext, profile_munmap, and profile_handoff_task
  are the big successes for dead code removal this round.

  A bunch of small bug fixes are included, as most of the issues
  reported were small enough that they would not affect bisection so I
  simply added the fixes and did not fold the fixes into the changes
  they were fixing.

  There was a bug that broke coredumps piped to systemd-coredump. I
  dropped the change that caused that bug and replaced it entirely with
  something much more restrained. Unfortunately that required some
  rebasing.

  Some successes after this set of changes: There are few enough calls
  to do_exit to audit in a reasonable amount of time. The lifetime of
  struct kthread now matches the lifetime of struct task, and the
  pointer to struct kthread is no longer stored in set_child_tid. The
  flag SIGNAL_GROUP_COREDUMP is removed. The field group_exit_task is
  removed. Issues where task->exit_code was examined with
  signal->group_exit_code should been examined were fixed.

  There are several loosely related changes included because I am
  cleaning up and if I don't include them they will probably get lost.

d9679d0013 virtio: wrap config->reset calls
This will enable cleanups down the road.
The idea is to disable cbs, then add "flush_queued_cbs" callback
as a parameter, this way drivers can flush any work
queued after callbacks have been disabled.

564d4eceb9 ath5k: fix OOB in ath5k_eeprom_read_pcal_info_5111
The bug was found during fuzzing. Stacktrace locates it in
ath5k_eeprom_convert_pcal_info_5111.
When none of the curve is selected in the loop, idx can go

There are many OOB writes using pd later in the code. So I
added a sanity check for idx. Checks for other loops involving
AR5K_EEPROM_N_PD_CURVES are not needed as the loop index is not
used outside the loops.

The patch is NOT tested with real device.

212ad7cb7d ath11k: free peer for station when disconnect from AP for QCA6390/WCN6855
Commit b4a0f54156 ("ath11k: move peer delete after vdev stop of station
for QCA6390 and WCN6855") is to fix firmware crash by changing the WMI
command sequence, but actually skip all the peer delete operation, then
it lead commit 58595c9874 ("ath11k: Fixing dangling pointer issue upon
peer delete failure") not take effect, and then happened a use-after-free
warning from KASAN. because the peer->sta is not set to NULL and then used
later.

Change to only skip the WMI_PEER_DELETE_CMDID for QCA6390/WCN6855.

b3febdccde ath11k: add LDPC FEC type in 802.11 radiotap header
LDPC is one the FEC type advertised in msdu_start info2 for HT packet
type. Hence, add hardware specific callback for fetching LDPC
support from msdu start and enable RX_ENC_FLAG_LDPC flag while passing
rx status to mac80211.

fbed57d897 ath11k: Refactor the fallback routine when peer create fails
When there is an error in peer create process from
ath11k_peer_find(), the code attempts to handle a fallback
for peer create. When this fallback fails, the driver returns
the fallback return code rather than actual error code
(-ENOENT). So refactor the fallback routine to return
the actual error code.

9f4ecacf2f ath11k: fix workqueue not getting destroyed after rmmod
Currently, ath11k_core_alloc() creates a single thread workqueue.
This workqueue is not detroyed during clean up when ath11k modules
are unloaded from the kernel and is left as it is.
If workqueue is not destroyed, it could lead to kernel
memory scarcity in a longer run. This could affect self and
other drivers workability as well.

Add destroy workqueue in ath11k_core_free().

e3fb3d4418 ath10k: fix memory overwrite of the WoWLAN wakeup packet pattern
In function ath10k_wow_convert_8023_to_80211(), it will do memcpy for
the new->pattern, and currently the new->pattern and new->mask is same
with the old, then the memcpy of new->pattern will also overwrite the
old->pattern, because the header format of new->pattern is 802.11,
its length is larger than the old->pattern which is 802.3. Then the
operation of "Copy frame body" will copy a mistake value because the
body memory has been overwrite when memcpy the new->pattern.

Assign another empty value to new_pattern to avoid the overwrite issue.

e6e5904455 codel: remove unnecessary pkt_sched.h include
Commit d068ca2ae2 ("codel: split into multiple files") moved all
Qdisc-related code to codel_qdisc.h, move the include of pkt_sched.h
as well.

This is similar to the previous commit, although we don't care as
much about incremental builds after pkt_sched.h was touched itself
it is included by net/sch_generic.h which is modified ~20 times
a year.

This decreases the incremental build size after touching pkt_sched.h
from 1592 to 617 objects.

Fix unmasked missing includes in WiFi drivers.

15fcb10311 codel: remove unnecessary sock.h include
Since sock.h is modified relatively often (60 times in the last
12 months) it seems worthwhile to decrease the incremental build
work.

CoDel's header includes net/inet_ecn.h which in turn includes net/sock.h.
codel.h is itself included by mac80211 which is included by much of
the WiFi stack and drivers. Removing the net/inet_ecn.h include from
CoDel breaks the dependecy between WiFi and sock.h.

Commit d068ca2ae2 ("codel: split into multiple files") moved all
the code which actually needs ECN helpers out to net/codel_impl.h,
the include can be moved there as well.

This decreases the incremental build size after touching sock.h
from 4999 objects to 4051 objects.

Fix unmasked missing includes in WiFi drivers.

ec031ac479 wilc1000: Add reset/enable GPIO support to SPI driver
For the SDIO driver, the RESET/ENABLE pins of WILC1000 are controlled
through the SDIO power sequence driver.  This commit adds analogous
support for the SPI driver.  Specifically, during initialization, the
chip will be ENABLEd and taken out of RESET and during
deinitialization, the chip will be placed back into RESET and disabled
(both to reduce power consumption and to ensure the WiFi radio is
off).

Both RESET and ENABLE GPIOs are optional.  However, if the ENABLE GPIO
is specified, then the RESET GPIO should normally also be specified as
otherwise there is no way to ensure proper timing of the ENABLE/RESET
sequence.

5d5d68bcff rtw88: don't consider deep PS mode when transmitting packet
In original flow, driver needs to ensure chip leave deep ps mode
before transmitting any packet, and don't enter deep ps mode beofre
PCIE DMA is finished. Now with the support of 8822ce's hardware
setting and firmware after v9.9.11, these limits are removed.

The reason is that, with commit 734223d784 ("ath11k: change return
buffer manager for QCA6390"), ath11k expects the return buffer manager
(RBM) field of descriptor configured as HAL_RX_BUF_RBM_SW1_BM when
parsing error frames from WBM2SW3_RELEASE ring. This is a wrong change
cause the RBM field is set as HAL_RX_BUF_RBM_SW3_BM.

The same issue also applies to REO2TCL ring though we have not got any
error reported.

Fix it by changing RBM from HAL_RX_BUF_RBM_SW1_BM to HAL_RX_BUF_RBM_SW3_BM
for these two rings.

d943fdad75 ath11k: Fix napi related hang
Similar to the same bug in ath10k, a napi disable w/out it being enabled
will hang forever.  I believe I saw this while trying rmmod after driver
had some failure on startup.  Fix it by keeping state on whether napi is
enabled or not.

And, remove un-used napi pointer in ath11k driver base struct.

9d364b828a ath10k: replace strlcpy with strscpy
The strlcpy should not be used because it doesn't limit the source
length. So that it will lead some potential bugs.

But the strscpy doesn't require reading memory from the src string
beyond the specified "count" bytes, and since the return value is
easier to error-check than strlcpy()'s. In addition, the implementation
is robust to the string changing out from underneath it, unlike the
current strlcpy() implementation.

Thus, replace strlcpy with strscpy.

8704d0befb rtw88: support SAR via kernel common API
Register cfg80211_sar_capa with type NL80211_SAR_TYPE_POWER and four
frequency ranges for configurations in unit of 0.25 dBm. And handle
callback set_sar_specs.

Originally, TX power has three main parameters, i.e. power base,
power by rate, and power limit. The formula can be simply considered
as TX power = power base + min(power by rate, power limit). With the
support of SAR which can be treated as another power limit, there is
one more parameter for TX power. And the formula will evolve into
TX power = power base + min(power by rate, power limit, power sar).

Besides, debugfs tx_pwr_tbl is also refined to show SAR information.

10d162b2ed rtw88: 8822c: add ieee80211_ops::hw_scan
Declare this function allows us to use customized scanning policy.
By doing so we can be more time efficient on each scan. In order to
make existing coex mechanism work as usual, firmware notifies driver
on each channel switch event, then decide antenna ownership based on
the current channel/band. Do note that this new mechanism affects
throughput more than the sw_scan we used to have, but the overall
average throughput is not affected since each scan take less time.
Since the firmware size is limited, we only support probe requests
with custom IEs length under 128 bytes for now, if any user space
tools requires more than that, we'll introduce related changes
afterwards. For backward compatibility, we fallback to sw_scan when
using older firmware that does not support this feature.

bcbddc4f9d iwlwifi: mei: wait before mapping the shared area
The shared area is a DMA memory allocated in the host and
mapped so that the host and the CSME firmware can
exchange data. It is mapped through a dedicated PCI device
that is driven by the mei bus driver.

The bus driver is in charge of allocating and mapping this
memory. It also needs to configure the CSME firmware with
a specific set of commands, so that the CSME firmware will
know that this memory is meant to be used by its internal
WLAN module.

For this, the CSME firmware first needs to completely
initialize its WLAN module and only then get the mapping
request.

The problem is that the mei bus enumeration completes
before the WLAN is completely ready. This means that
the WLAN module's initialization is racing with iwlmei's
allocation and mapping flow.

Testing showed a problem in resume flows where iwlmei
was too fast and the DMA mapping failed.

Add a delay to avoid this. This is still racy, but our
measurements showed that we have a good margin and we
should now be safe.
