66ed81dced bnxt_en: Enable packet timestamping for all RX packets
Add driver support to enable timestamping on all RX packets
that are received by the NIC. This capability can be requested
by the applications using SIOCSHWTSTAMP ioctl with filter type
HWTSTAMP_FILTER_ALL.

11862689e8 bnxt_en: Configure ptp filters during bnxt open
For correctness, we need to configure the packet filters for timestamping
during bnxt_open. This way they are always configured after firmware
reset or chip reset. We should not assume that the filters will always
be retained across resets.

This patch modifies the ioctl handler and always configures the PTP
filters in the bnxt_open() path.

195af57914 bnxt_en: Fix unnecessary dropping of RX packets
In bnxt_poll_p5(), we first check cpr->has_more_work. If it is true,
we are in NAPI polling mode and we will call __bnxt_poll_cqs() to
continue polling. It is possible to exhanust the budget again when
__bnxt_poll_cqs() returns.

We then enter the main while loop to check for new entries in the NQ.
If we had previously exhausted the NAPI budget, we may call
__bnxt_poll_work() to process an RX entry with zero budget. This will
cause packets to be dropped unnecessarily, thinking that we are in the
netpoll path. Fix it by breaking out of the while loop if we need
to process an RX NQ entry with no budget left. We will then exit
NAPI and stay in polling mode.

13ba794397 bnxt_en: Fix possible bnxt_open() failure caused by wrong RFS flag
bnxt_open() can fail in this code path, especially on a VF when
it fails to reserve default rings:

bnxt_open()
  __bnxt_open_nic()
    bnxt_clear_int_mode()
    bnxt_init_dflt_ring_mode()

RX rings would be set to 0 when we hit this error path.

It is possible for a subsequent bnxt_open() call to potentially succeed
with a code path like this:

bnxt_open()
  bnxt_hwrm_if_change()
    bnxt_fw_init_one()
      bnxt_fw_init_one_p3()
        bnxt_set_dflt_rfs()
          bnxt_rfs_capable()
            bnxt_hwrm_reserve_rings()

On older chips, RFS is capable if we can reserve the number of vnics that
is equal to RX rings + 1. But since RX rings is still set to 0 in this
code path, we may mistakenly think that RFS is supported for 0 RX rings.

Later, when the default RX rings are reserved and we try to enable
RFS, it would fail and cause bnxt_open() to fail unnecessarily.

We fix this in 2 places. bnxt_rfs_capable() will always return false if
RX rings is not yet set. bnxt_init_dflt_ring_mode() will call
bnxt_set_dflt_rfs() which will always clear the RFS flags if RFS is not
supported.

1dc4c557bf bnxt: adding bnxt_xdp_build_skb to build skb from multibuffer xdp_buff

625788b584 net: add per-cpu storage and net->core_stats
Before adding yet another possibly contended atomic_long_t,
it is time to add per-cpu storage for existing ones:
 dev->tx_dropped, dev->rx_dropped, and dev->rx_nohandler

Because many devices do not have to increment such counters,
allocate the per-cpu storage on demand, so that dev_get_stats()
does not have to spend considerable time folding zero counters.

Note that some drivers have abused these counters which
were supposed to be only used by core networking stack.

662c9b22f5 bnxt_en: improve VF error messages when PF is unavailable

If the PF is closed, then VFs are subjected to rather inscrutable error
messages in response to any configuration requests involving the above
command types. Recent firmware distinguishes this problem case from
other errors by returning HWRM_ERR_CODE_PF_UNAVAILABLE. In most cases,
the appropriate course of action is still to fail, but this can now be
accomplished with the aid of more user informative log messages. For L2
filter allocations that are already asynchronous, an automatic retry
seems more appropriate.

8fa4219dba bnxt_en: add dynamic debug support for HWRM messages
Add logging of firmware messages. These can be useful for diagnosing
issues in the field, but due to their verbosity are only appropriate
at a debug message level.

720908e5f8 bnxt_en: Use page frag RX buffers for better software GRO performance
If NETIF_F_GRO_HW is disabled, the existing driver code uses kmalloc'ed
data for RX buffers. This causes inefficient SW GRO performance
because the GRO data is merged using the less efficient frag_list.
Use netdev_alloc_frag() and friends instead so that GRO data can be
merged into skb_shinfo(skb)->frags for better performance.

df78ea2246 bnxt_en: Support configurable CQE coalescing mode
CQE coalescing mode is the same as the timer reset coalescing mode
on Broadcom devices. Currently this mode is always enabled if it
is supported by the device. Restructure the code slightly to support
dynamically changing this mode.

Add a flags field to struct bnxt_coal. Initially, the CQE flag will
be set for the RX and TX side if the device supports it. We need to
move bnxt_init_dflt_coal() to set up default coalescing until the
capability is determined.

3c4153394e bnxt_en: implement firmware live patching
Live patches are activated by using the 'limit no_reset' option when
performing a devlink dev reload fw_activate operation. These packages
must first be installed on the device in the usual way. For example,
via devlink dev flash or ethtool -f.

The devlink device info has also been enhanced to render stored and
running live patch versions.

The main changes are firmware live patch support and 2 additional FEC

Add the matching FEC counters to ethtool counter array. Firmware older

we need to cap it at the smaller legacy size. Otherwise the new FEC
counters may show up with garbage values.

Add firmware event counters as well as health state severity. In
the unhealthy state, recommend a remedy and inform the user as to
its impact.

Readability of the devlink tool's output is negatively impacted by
adding these fields to the diagnosis. The single line of text, as
rendered by devlink health diagnose, benefits from more terse
descriptions, which can be substituted without loss of clarity, even
in pretty printed JSON mode.

892a662f04 bnxt_en: add enable_remote_dev_reset devlink parameter
The reported parameter value should not take into account the state
of remote drivers. Firmware will reject remote resets as appropriate,
thus it is not strictly necessary to check HOT_RESET_ALLOWED before
attempting to initiate a reset. But we add the check so that we can
provide more intuitive messages when reset is not permitted.

This firmware setting needs to be restored from all functions after
a firmware reset.
