Our goodix_check_cfg_* helpers do things like:
int i, raw_cfg_len = cfg->size - 2;
...
if (check_sum != cfg->data[raw_cfg_len]) {
When cfg->size < 2, this will end up indexing the cfg->data array with
a negative value, which will not end well.
To fix this this commit adds a new GOODIX_CONFIG_MIN_LENGTH define and
adds a minimum size check for firmware-config files using this new define.
For consistency this commit also adds a new GOODIX_CONFIG_GT9X_LENGTH for
the length used for recent gt9xx and gt1xxx chips, instead of using
GOODIX_CONFIG_MAX_LENGTH for this, so that if other length defines get
added in the future it will be clear that the MIN and MAX defines should
contain the min and max values of all the other defines.

On most Bay Trail (x86, UEFI + ACPI) devices the ACPI tables do not have
a _DSD with a "daffd814-6eba-4d8c-8a91-bc9bbf4aa301" UUID, adding
"irq-gpios" and "reset-gpios" mappings, so we cannot get the GPIOS by name
without first manually adding mappings ourselves.
These devices contain 2 GpioIo resource in their _CRS table, on all 4 such
devices which I have access to, the order of the 2 GPIOs is reset, int.
Note that the GPIO to which the touchscreen controller irq pin is connected
is configured in direct-irq mode on these Bay Trail devices, the
pinctrl-baytrail.c driver still allows controlling the pin as a GPIO in
this case, but this is not necessarily the case on other X86 ACPI
platforms, nor do we have a guarantee that the GPIO order is the same
elsewhere, so we limit the use of a _CRS table with 2 GpioIo resources
to Bay Trail devices only.

There is no fixed order for these 2. This commit adds code to check that
there is 1 of each as expected and then registers a mapping matching their
order using devm_acpi_dev_add_driver_gpios().
This gives us access to both GPIOs allowing us to properly suspend the
controller during suspend, and making it possible to reset the controller
if necessary.

Before this commit we would always reset the controller at probe when we
have access to the GPIOs which are necessary to do a reset.
Doing the reset requires access to the GPIOs, but just because we have
access to the GPIOs does not mean that we should always reset the
controller at probe. On X86 ACPI platforms the BIOS / UEFI firmware will
already have reset the controller and it will have loaded the device
specific config into the controller. Doing the reset sometimes causes the
controller to lose its configuration, so on X86 ACPI platforms this is not
a good idea.
This commit adds a new reset_controller_at_probe boolean to control the
reset at probe behavior.
This commits sets the new bool to true when we set irq_pin_access_method
to IRQ_PIN_ACCESS_GPIO, so there are no functional changes.

At least on X86 ACPI platforms it is not necessary to load the touchscreen
controller config from disk, if it needs to be loaded this has already been
done by the BIOS / UEFI firmware.
Even on other (e.g. devicetree) platforms the config-loading as currently
done has the issue that the loaded cfg file is based on the controller
model, but the actual cfg is device specific, so the cfg files are not
part of linux-firmware and this can only work with a device specific OS
image which includes the cfg file.
And we do not need access to the GPIOs at all to load the config, if we
do not have access we can still load the config.
So all in all tying the decision to try to load the config from disk to
being able to access the GPIOs is not desirable. This commit adds a new
load_cfg_from_disk boolean to control the firmware loading instead.
This commits sets the new bool to true when we set irq_pin_access_method
to IRQ_PIN_ACCESS_GPIO, so there are no functional changes.

Suspending Goodix touchscreens requires changing the interrupt pin to
output before sending them a power-down command. Followed by wiggling
the interrupt pin to wake the device up, after which it is put back
in input mode.
So far we have only effectively supported this on devices which use
devicetree. On X86 ACPI platforms both looking up the pins; and using a
pin as both IRQ and GPIO is a bit more complicated. E.g. on some devices
we cannot directly access the IRQ pin as GPIO and we need to call ACPI
methods to control it instead.
This commit adds a new irq_pin_access_method field to the goodix_chip_data
struct and adds goodix_irq_direction_output and goodix_irq_direction_input
helpers which together abstract the GPIO accesses to the IRQ pin.
This is a preparation patch for adding support for properly suspending the
touchscreen on X86 ACPI platforms.

need to find and install the firmware themselves before the touchscreen
will work
Some UEFI/x86 tablets with an icn8505 touchscreen have a copy of the fw
embedded in their UEFI boot-services code.
This commit makes the icn8505 driver use the new firmware_request_platform
function, which will fallback to looking for such an embedded copy when
direct filesystem lookup fails. This will make the touchscreen work OOTB
on devices where there is a fw copy embedded in the UEFI code.

The is_visible function expects the permissions associated with an
attribute of the sysfs group or 0 if an attribute is not visible.

In a recent change to the SPI subsystem [1], a new `delay` struct was added
to replace the `delay_usecs`. This change replaces the current
`delay_usecs` with `delay` for this driver.
The `spi_transfer_delay_exec()` function [in the SPI framework] makes sure
that both `delay_usecs` & `delay` are used (in this order to preserve
backwards compatibility).

Since day one the touch controller acts as wakeup-source. This seems to
be wrong since the device supports deep-sleep mechanism [1] which
requires a reset to leave it. Also some designs won't use the
touchscreen as wakeup-source.
According discussion [2] we decided to break backward compatibility and
go the common way by using the 'wakeup-source' device-property.

Make sure to use the current alternate setting when verifying the
interface descriptors to avoid binding to an invalid interface.
This in turn could cause the driver to misbehave or trigger a WARN() in
usb_submit_urb() that kernels with panic_on_warn set would choke on.

To avoid flashing incompatible firmware onto a device we should check
whether "Remark ID" in firmware matches with the one in the controller.
This function is supported by Elan's latest version of boot code, so the
driver decides whether to perform the check based on the boot code version.

The touchscreen on the Teclast X89 is mounted upside down in relation to
the display orientation (the touchscreen itself is mounted upright, but the
display is mounted upside-down). Add a quirk for this so that we send
coordinates which match the display orientation.

The device md->input is used after it is released. Setting the device
data to NULL is unnecessary as the device is never used again. Instead,
md->input should be assigned NULL to avoid accessing the freed memory
accidently. Besides, checking md->si against NULL is superfluous as it
points to a variable address, which cannot be NULL.

Optionally allow the touch screen resolution to be set by adding
it to the chip operations structure. If it is omitted (left zero),
the resolution defaults to 64K. Which is the previously hard-coded
value.
Set the ili2117 resolution to 2048, as indicated in its datasheet.

The driver's method to retrieve the firmware version on ili2117/
ili2118 chip flavours is incorrect. The firmware version register
address and layout are wrong.
The firmware version is not actually used anywhere inside or
outside this driver. There is a dev_dbg() print, but that is
only visible when the developer explicitly compiles in debug
support.
Don't make the code more complicated to preserve a feature that
no-one is using. Remove all code associated with chip firmware
version.

When I2C client is instantiated with I2C_CLIENT_WAKE flag (either via
"wakeup-source" device property, or via board info flag), it will mark the
main IRQ line as wakeup IRQ, which will ensure that it will be enabled for
wakeup when system transitions to suspend state. Since our suspend/resume
handlers were only managing IRQ wakeup state, they are no longer needed,
and can be removed.

Add support for ILI2117 touch controller. This controller is similar
to the ILI210x and ILI251x, except for the following differences:
- Reading out of touch data must happen at most 300 mS after the
interrupt line was asserted. No command must be sent, the data
are returned upon pure I2C read of 43 bytes long.
- Supports 10 simultaneous touch inputs.
- Touch data format is slightly different.

The finger structure size is quite small and allocating it together with
the main driver structure will not increase likelyhood of allocation

We should not be putting the chip into reset while interrupts are enabled
and ISR may be running. Fix this by installing a custom devm action and
powering off the device/resetting GPIO line from there. This ensures proper
ordering.

When I2C client is created with I2C_CLIENT_WAKE flag (which happens
either because we have "wakeup-source" device property or the flag
was passed in when creating an I2C client manually), I2C core will
take care of configuring interrupt as wakeup source on suspend.

The pixcir datasheet lists the registers addresses in decimal and
so are PIXCIR_REG_POWER_MODE and PIXCIR_REG_INT_MODE defined in decimal.
Change the error messages to print the register addresses in decimal

Some variants of Goodix touchscreen firmwares use 9-bytes finger
report format instead of common 8-bytes format.
This report format may be present as:

Across suspend and resume, we are seeing error messages like the following:
atmel_mxt_ts i2c-PRP0001:00: __mxt_read_reg: i2c transfer failed (-121)
atmel_mxt_ts i2c-PRP0001:00: Failed to read T44 and T5 (-121)
This occurs because the driver leaves its IRQ enabled. Upon resume, there
is an IRQ pending, but the interrupt is serviced before both the driver and
the underlying I2C bus have been resumed. This causes EREMOTEIO errors.
Disable the IRQ in suspend, and re-enable it on resume. If there are cases
where the driver enters suspend with interrupts disabled, that's a bug we
should fix separately.

If the touchscreen is configured as wakeup source we should not be cutting
off power to it.
Also, now that the driver relies on I2C client to supply IRQ, we do not
need to explicitly enable and disable IRQ for wakeup: if device is created
as wakeup source, I2C core will mark interrupt as wakeup one.

Instead of trying to map INT GPIO to interrupt, let's use one supplied by

There are no current users of the platform data in the tree, and
any new users should either use device tree, or static device
properties to describe the device.
This change drop the platform data definition and handling and moves the
driver over to generic device properties API. We also drop support for the
external clock. If it is needed we will have to extend the bindings to
supply the clock reference and handle it properly in the driver.
Also, wakeup setting should be coming from I2C client.

"bu21013_data" and "struct bu21013_ts_data" are a tad long, let's call them
"ts" and "struct bu21013_ts".
Also rename retval to error in bu21013_init_chip() and adjust formatting;
i2c_smbus_write_byte_data() returns negative on error and 0 on success, so
we simply test if whether erro is 0 or not.

This driver can use GPIO descriptors rather than GPIO numbers
without any problems, convert it. Name the field variables after
the actual pins on the chip rather than the "reset" and "touch"
names from the devicetree bindings that are vaguely inaccurate.
No in-tree users pass GPIO numbers in platform data so drop
this. Descriptor tables can be used to get these GPIOs from a board
file if need be.

GCC warns that the output of our call to 'snprintf' in 'w8001_connect'
may be truncated since both 'serio->phys' and 'w8001->phys' are 32 bytes
in length. Increase the amount of space allocated for the latter to
compensate.

A few vendor specific bindings are now covered by common bindings.
Let the driver parse the common bindings to make use of common
inverting and swapping mechnism. Aslo make use of
touchscreen_report_pos() to ensure the correct inverting-swapping
order.
The vendor specific properties are used as default (backward
compatibility) and gets overwritten by common bindings.

This driver set the colorspace to SRGB, but that makes no sense for
a touchscreen. Use RAW instead. This also ensures consistency with the

Merge tag 'v5.2' into next
Sync up with mainline to resolve conflicts in iforce driver.
Converts ARM the text files to ReST, preparing them to be an
architecture book.
The conversion is actually:
- add blank lines and identation in order to identify paragraphs;
- fix tables markups;
- add some lists markups;
- mark literal blocks;
- adjust title markups.
At its new index.rst, let's add a :orphan: while this is not linked to

internally calls devm_add_action(). If devm_add_action() fails

Another round of SPDX updates for 5.2-rc6
Here is what I am guessing is going to be the last "big" SPDX update for
5.2. It contains all of the remaining GPLv2 and GPLv2+ updates that
were "easy" to determine by pattern matching. The ones after this are
going to be a bit more difficult and the people on the spdx list will be
discussing them on a case-by-case basis now.
Another 5000+ files are fixed up, so our overall totals are:
Files checked: 64545
Files with SPDX: 45529
Compared to the 5.1 kernel which was:
Files checked: 63848
Files with SPDX: 22576
This is a huge improvement.
Also, we deleted another 20000 lines of boilerplate license crud, always
nice to see in a diffstat.

Instead of filling in the struct v4l2_capability device_caps
field, fill in the struct video_device device_caps field.
That way the V4L2 core knows what the capabilities of the
video device are.
But this only really works if all drivers use this, so convert
this touchscreen driver accordingly.

Calling input_mt_init_slots() copies ABS_MT_POSITION_X to ABS_X and
so on, but doing so before calling touchscreen_parse_properties()
leaves ABS_X min = max = 0 which may prompt an X server to ignore
the device.
To solve this problem, wait to call input_mt_init_slots() until all
absolute axis information has been resolved (whether that's through
device tree via touchscreen_parse_properties() or from reading from
the device directly).

For systems in which the touch IRQ is acting as wakeup source, and that do
not support level-driven interrupts, the interrupt controller might not
latch the GPIO IRQ during sleep. In such cases, the interrupt will never
occur again after resume, hence the touch screen appears dead.
To fix this, check for the assertion of the attn gpio, and read form the
controller once in the resume path to read the hardware status and
to arm the IRQ again.
Introduce a mutex to guard eeti_ts_read() against parallel invocations
from different contexts.

wakeup gestures.

Goodix CTP controllers require AVDD28, VDDIO regulators for power-on
sequence.
The delay between these regualtor operations as per Power-on Timing
from datasheet[1] is 0 (T1 >= 0 usec).
So, enable and disable these regulators in proper order using normal
regulator functions without any delay in between.

Add support for ILI251x touch controller. This controller is similar
to the ILI210x, except for the following differences:
- Does not support I2C R-W transfer, Read must be followed by an
obscenely long delay, and then followed by Write
- Does support 10 simultaneous touch inputs.
- Touch data format is slightly different, pressure reporting does not
work although the touch data contain such information.

As the sx865[456] share the same datasheet and differ only in the
presence of a "capacitive proximity detection circuit" and a "haptics
motor driver for LRA/ERM" add them to the compatbiles. As the driver
doesn't implement these features it should be no problem.

The sx8654 features a NRST input which may be connected to a GPIO.
Therefore add support for hard-resetting the sx8654 via this NRST.
If the reset-gpio property is provided the sx8654 is resetted via NRST

Unfortunately the evervision focaltech implementation uses two offset
registers, one for the x coordinate and one for y.
This patch extends the driver to handle those offset registers only for
devices that support these.

Evervision displays are using different Focaltech touchscreen
controllers. This commit adds the initial support for the ones using the
FT5726 controller. Receiving the touch data is the same as for the
GENERIC_FT but the x and y cooridnates are swapped. The main differences
are the register addresses where the GAIN and THRESHOLD parameters are
stored.

regmap_bulk_read() can return a non zero value on failure. The fix checks
if the function call succeeded before calling mod_timer. The issue was
identified by a static analysis tool.

This driver supports configuration via platform data but
absolutely nothing in the upstream kernel uses it. Since this
configuration allows harmful practices such as encoding the
GPIO base for the chip, delete platform data support so that
no new platform using it gets introduced.

Some touchscreens, depending on the firmware and/or the digitizer, report
coordinates which never reach 0 along one or both of their axis.
This has been seen for example on the Silead touchscreens on a Onda V891w
and a Point of View mobii TAB-P800w(v2.0).
This commit adds support for touchscreen-min-x and touchscreen-min-y
device-properties which can be set to communicate the actual start
coordinates (rather then 0,0) to userspace.
This commit also drop the "(in pixels)" comment from the documentation
of the touchscreen-size-x and touchscreen-size-y properties. The comment
suggested that there is a relation between the range of reported
coordinates and the display resolution, which is only true for some
devices. The "(in pixels)" comment is replaced with "(maximum x coordinate
reported + 1)" to mirror the language describing the new touchscreen-min-x
and -min-y properties.
When set this fixes e.g. not being able to click things in the GNOME3
top-bar on the 2 example tablets.

A certain silead controller (Chip ID: 0x56810000) loses its firmware
after suspend, causing the resume to fail. This patch tries to load
the firmware, should a resume error occur and retries the resuming.

Split regmap_config.use_single_rw into use_single_read and
use_single_write. This change enables drivers of devices which only
support bulk operations in one direction to use the regmap_bulk_*()
functions for both directions and have their bulk operation split into
single operations only when necessary.
Update all struct regmap_config instances where use_single_rw==true to
instead set both use_single_read and use_single_write. No attempt was
made to evaluate whether it is possible to set only one of
use_single_read or use_single_write.

We use sscanf to parse the configuration file, so it's necessary to zero

The driver only registers one input device, which uses the screen
parameters from the first T9 instance. The first T63 instance also uses
those parameters.
It is incorrect to send input reports from the second instances of these
objects if they are enabled: the input scaling will be wrong and the
positions will be mashed together.
This also causes problems on Android if the number of slots exceeds 32.
In the future, this could be handled by looking for enabled touch object
instances and creating an input device for each one.

wdt87xx_resume() is never called in atomic context. It calls mdelay() to
busily wait, which is not necessary. mdelay() can be replaced with
msleep().

Locking the root adapter for __i2c_transfer will deadlock if the
device sits behind a mux-locked I2C mux. Switch to the finer-grained
i2c_lock_bus with the I2C_LOCK_SEGMENT flag. If the device does not
sit behind a mux-locked mux, the two locking variants are equivalent.

The only user of this driver in mainline does not make use of the module
parameters, so let's remove them. All properties for this driver should be
set through DT or pdata.
Use touchscreen_parse_properties() to automatically set some of the common
touchscreen properties and derive the axis inversion through that.
And finally, use touchscreen_report_pos() to handle the DT properties
automatically instead of doing the inversion ourselves.

This adds a generic resistive touchscreen (GRTS) driver, which is based
on an IIO device (an ADC). It must be connected to the channels of an ADC
to receive touch data. Then it will feed the data into the input subsystem
where it registers an input device.
It uses an IIO callback buffer to register to the IIO device

Prevent system suspend while user has finger on touch screen,
because TSC is wakeup source and suspending device while in use will
result in failure to disable the module.
This patch uses pm_stay_awake() and pm_relax() APIs to prevent and
resume system suspend as required.

It is seen that just enabling the TSC module triggers a HW_PEN IRQ
without any interaction with touchscreen by user. This results in first
suspend/resume sequence to fail as system immediately wakes up from
suspend as soon as HW_PEN IRQ is enabled in suspend handler due to the
pending IRQ. Therefore clear all IRQs at probe and also in suspend
callback for sanity.

The current reset-gpio support triggers an interrupt storm on platforms
using the maxtouch with level based interrupt. The Motorola Droid 4,
which I used for some of the tests is not affected, since it uses a edge
based interrupt.
This change avoids the interrupt storm by enabling the device while its
interrupt is disabled. Afterwards we wait 100ms. This is important for
two reasons: The device is unresponsive for some time (~22ms for
mxt224E) and the CHG (interrupt) line is not working properly for 100ms.
We don't need to wait for any following interrupts, since the following
mxt_initialize() checks for bootloader mode anyways.
This fixes a boot issue on GE PPD (watchdog kills device due to
interrupt storm) and does not cause regression on Motorola Droid 4.

The driver needs help determining whether it is dealing with a touchscreen
or a touchpad, and with button mapping. Previously we supported passing
this data via device properties, and also had DMI lists for Chromebooks
that specified Atmel devices in ACPI, but did not provide enough data
there. Now that chromeos_laptop driver is adjusted to supply necessary
device properties even for ACPI devices, we can drop the DMI tables and
refuse to probe if device properties are not attached to the device.
We use presence of "compatible" property to determine if device properties
are attached to the device or not and rely on chromeos_laptop to re-probe
the device after attaching missing device properties to it.

The ChipOne icn8505 is an i2c capacitive touchscreen controller typically
used in cheap x86 tablets, this commit adds a driver for it.
Note the icn8505 is somewhat similar to the icn8318 and I started with
modifying that driver to support both, but in the end the differences were
too large and I decided to write a new driver instead.

Commit af503716ac ("i2c: core: report OF style module alias for devices
registered via OF") fixed how the I2C core reports the module alias when
devices are registered via OF.
But the atmel_mxt_ts driver only has an "atmel,maxtouch" compatible in its
OF device ID table, so if a Device Tree is using a different one, autoload
won't be working for the module (the matching works because the I2C device
ID table is used as a fallback).
So add compatible strings for each of the entries in the I2C device table.

The automatic update mechanism will trigger an update if the
info block CRCs are different between maxtouch configuration
file (maxtouch.cfg) and chip.
The driver compared the CRCs without retrieving the chip CRC,
resulting always in a failure and firmware flashing action
triggered. Fix this issue by retrieving the chip info block
CRC before the check.
Note that this solution has the benefit that by reading the
information block and the object table into a contiguous region
of memory, we can verify the checksum at probe time. This means
we make sure that we are indeed talking to a chip that supports
object protocol correctly.
Using this patch on a kevin chromebook, the touchscreen and
touchpad drivers are able to match the CRC:

This patch adds the correct platform data information for the Caroline
Chromebook, so that the mouse button does not get stuck in pressed state
after the first click.
The Samus button keymap and platform data definition are the correct
ones for Caroline, so they have been reused here.

Move older ChromeOS devices describing Atmel controllers in ACPI, but not
providing enough details to configure the controllers properly, from
platform data over to generic device properties. This will allow us
remove support for platform data later on, leaving only generic device
properties in place.

Instead of using OF-specific APIs to fecth device properties, let's switch
to generic device properties API. This will allow us to use device
properties on legacy ChromeOS devices and get rid of platform data down
the road.

The way we are supposed to put controller to sleep and wake it up does not
depend on the platform, but rather on controller itself, so we want to get
rid of suspend mode in platform data (and eventually get rid of platform
data completely). Unfortunately some early chromebooks (the original Pixel,
Acer C720) were shipped with config that requires manually re-enabling
touch reporting in T9. We will sort it out, but in the meantime let's
switch to a simple DMI quirk.
We'll keep pdata->suspend_mode for now and remove it when we rework
chromeos-laptop driver.

Executing stmfts_power_on() function lasts over 2 seconds, what
significantly slows down the boot and resume processes if driver is
compiled in. Avoid this delay by forcing this driver to be probed
and suspended/resumed asynchronously.

If the device is unused and suspended, a call to open will cause the
device to autoresume through the call to usb_autopm_get_interface().
input_dev->users is already incremented by the input subsystem,
therefore this expression will always be evaluated to true:

result = usb_submit_urb(usbtouch->irq, GFP_NOIO);
The same URB will then be fail when resubmitted in usbtouch_open().
Introduce usbtouch->is_open to keep track of the state instead.

usb_autopm_get_interface() that is called in usbtouch_open() does an
autoresume if the device is suspended.
input_dev->mutex used in usbtouch_resume() is in this case already
taken by the input subsystem and will cause a deadlock.

This commit add ACPI support for Chuwi Hi8 tablet. On the ACPI table of
the tablet, GSL1680 is registered as MSSL0001, so the driver does not
recognize the device. This commit resolve it.

These functions provide write access to the internal LCD panel registers
which also control the sensor. They can be used to disable the
preprocessor, set the illumination brightness, and adjust gain/contrast
(which are stored together in one register internally called "vsvideo").

The SUR40 can recognize specific printed patterns directly in hardware;
this information (i.e. the pattern id) is present but currently unused

to try to attempt to make the code easier to handle in the long run, but
no functional change. There's also some tree-wide sysfs attribute
fixups with lots of acks from the various subsystem maintainers, as well
as a handful of other normal fixes and changes.
And finally, some license cleanups for the driver core and sysfs code.
All have been in linux-next for a while with no reported issues.

Use touchscreen_properties structure instead of implementing all
properties by our own. It allows us to reuse generic code for parsing
device-tree properties (which was implemented manually in the driver for
now). Additionally, it allows us to report events using generic
touchscreen_report_pos(), which automatically handles inverted and
swapped axes.
This fixes the issue with the custom code incorrectly handling case where
ts->inverted_x and ts->swapped_x_y were true, but ts->inverted_y was
false. Assuming we have 720x1280 touch panel, ts->abs_x_max == 1279 and
ts->abs_y_max == 719 (because we inverted that in goodix_read_config()).
Now let's assume that we received event from (0:0) position (in touch
panel original coordinates). In function goodix_ts_report_touch() we
calculate input_x as 1279, but after swapping input_y takes that value
(which is more that maximum 719 value reported during initialization).
Note that since touchscreen coordinates are 0-indexed, we now report
touchscreen range as (0:size-1).
Developed and tested on custom DT-based device with gt1151 touch
panel.

The MMS114 platform data has no in-tree users, so drop it.
Switch to using the standard touchscreen properties via
touchscreen_parse_properties(), and move the old DT parsing code
to use device_property_*() APIs.
Finally, use touchscreen_report_pos to report x/y coordinates
and drop the custom x/y inversion code.

When attempting enter factory mode on firmware that does not support it,
we'd error out, but leave the device with interrupts disabled, and thus
touch not working. Fix it by moving the check before we disable
interrupts/allocate memory for debug buffers.

The interrupt is requested before the device is powered on and
it's value in some cases cannot be reliable. It happens on some
devices that an interrupt is generated as soon as requested
before having the chance to disable the irq.
Set the irq flag as IRQ_NOAUTOEN before requesting it.
This patch mutes the error:
stmfts 2-0049: failed to read events: -11
received sometimes during boot time.

Use managed resource allocations to simplify error handling during
probing failure and module exiting.
With this all the goto labels in the probe function together with
the cleanups in the remove function are unnecessary, therefore
removed.
