The kernel notifies all VXLAN capable registered drivers, i.e. any
driver that implements ndo_add_vxlan_port(), of the addition of a
port so that the driver can track which ports are in use. There's
no need to log this - it just fills the system log with useless and
irksome noise.
Also, when failing to init SR-IOV interfaces the driver was printing the
same message twice. Just remove the inner printk and let the outer message
catch enable as well as the other failures.

X722 uses the admin queue to configure RSS. This patch adds the necessary
flow changes to configure RSS through AQ. It also adds the separate VMDQ2
lookup tables and hash key programming for X722.
X722 also exposes a different set of PCTYPES for RSS, this patch
accommodates those changes.

This driver fully supports VF drivers using both the 1.0 and 1.1
versions of the virtual channel API. However, VF drivers using
version 1.0 get upset if we provide them with a version other than
that, and refuse to play with us.
Correct this by checking the VFs API version at the time that we
store it off, and provide the correct version number back to the VF
so we can all get along.

Store off the VF API version for use when figuring out the VF driver
capabilities. Add support for the VF driver handing its capabilities to
the PF driver and then use this information when sending VF resource
information back to the VF driver.

When a VF is disabled, there is no way for it to recover until either
the PF driver is reloaded or SR-IOV is disabled and enabled. To correct
this, enable the VF after a successful reset.

The VF disable code was just whanging on the reset bit without properly
cleaning up the VF, which would leave the VF in an indeterminate state
from which it could not recover. Fix this by notifying the VF and then
by calling the normal VF reset routine.

MAC filters for VFs were being programmed with 0 for the VLAN value when
there was no VLAN assigned. This is incorrect and actually assigns the
VF to VLAN 0. Instead, we must use -1 to indicate that no VLAN is in
use. This change programs the filters correctly and gets rid of a bogus
error message when setting a port VLAN on an active VF.

If user attempts to set a port VLAN on a VF that already has the same
port VLAN configured, the driver will go through a completely
unnecessary flurry of filter removals and filter adds. Just check for
this condition and return success instead of doing a bunch of busywork.

The patch fixes a bug in the default configuration which
prevented a software bridge loaded on the PF interface from
working correctly because broadcast packets are incorrectly
looped back.
Fix the general case, by loading the driver in VEPA mode Until a
VF or VMDq VSI is added. This way loopback on the Main VSI is
turned off until needed and can resolve the issue of unnecessary
reflection for users that do not have VF or VMDq VSIs setup.
The driver must now coordinate the loopback setting for the Flow
Director (FDIR) VSI to make sure it is in sync with the current
VEB or VEPA mode setting.
The user can still switch bridge modes from the bridge commands and
choose to be in VEPA mode with VF VSIs. Because of hardware
requirements, the call to switch to VEB mode when no VF/VMDqs are
present will be rejected.
NOTE: This patch uses BIT_ULL as that is preferred going forward,
a followup patch in the lower priority queue to net-next will fix
up the remaining 1 << usages.

Require the user to disable virtual functions before running the device
offline diagnostics. The offline diagnostics are intended to ensure
basic operation of the device - it is beyond the scope of the diagnostic
test to handle the additional complexity of bringing all the virtual
functions offline and then back online for each test run.

Gratuitously notify VFs of link state when they activate their queues.
In general, this is the last thing that a VF driver will do as it opens
its interface, so this is a good time to notify the VF.
Currently, VF devices assume link is up unless told otherwise, which
means that VFs instantiated on a PF with no link will report the wrong
state. This change corrects that issue.

Explicitly stop the rings belonging to each VF when disabling SR-IOV.
Even though the VFs were gone, and the associated VSIs were removed,
the rings were not stopped, and in some circumstances the hardware would
continue to access the memory formerly used by the rings, causing
memory corruption or DMAR errors, both of which would lead to general
malaise of the kernel.
To relieve this condition, explicitly stop all the rings associated with
each VF before releasing its resources.

This does not affect the Virtual channel API as such but it changes the
meaning of what is communicated to the VSI resource struct as vsi_id.
Earlier vsi_idx was being passed in, which was the index in the PF's VSI
array. Now we pass vsi_id as communicated by the FW to the driver.
This will help with future expansion of VF and FW communication.
With this in place now the VF and Virtual channel driver change to move over
to VSI id use is complete and is validated.

Validate that the VF has sent us a valid VSI index before actually using
that index. Without this code, a malicious or buggy VF driver could
panic the host by sending an invalid index into the VSI array.

The PF driver spams the system log with messages about VF VSI when VFs
are created, as well as each time they are reset. This is annoying, and
the information isn't even useful most of the time.

Add support for bridge offload ndo_ops getlink and setlink to
enable bridge hardware mode as per the mode set via IFLA_BRIDGE_MODE.
The support is only enabled in case of a PF VSI and not available for
any other VSI type.
By default the i40e driver inserts a bridge as part of the bring-up
when a FDIR type VSI and/or a FCoE VSI is created. This bridge is
created in VEB mode by default i.e. after creating the bridge using
"Add VEB" AQ command the loopback for the PF's default VSI is enabled.
The patch adds capability where all the VSIs created as downlink to
the bridge inherits the loopback property and enables loopback only
if the uplink bridge is operating in VEB mode.
Hence, there is no need to explicitly enable loopback as part of
allocating resources for SR-IOV VFs and call to do that has been
removed.
In case a user-request is made either via "bridge" utility or using
the bridge netlink interface that requires to change the hardware
bridge mode then that would require a PF reset and rebuild of the
switch hierarchy.

During VF deallocation, we need to lock out the VF reset code. However,
we cannot depend on simply masking the interrupt, as this does not lock
out the service task, which can still call the reset routine. Instead,
leave the interrupt enabled, but add locking around the VF disable and
reset routines.
For the disable code, we wait to get the lock, as the reset code will
take a finite amount of time to run. For the reset code, we just return
if we fail to get the lock. Since we know that the VFs are being
disabled, we don't need to handle the reset.
This fixes a panic when disabling SR-IOV.

If VF drivers are loaded in the host OS, the call to pci_disable_sriov()
will cause these drivers' remove routines to be called. If the PF driver
has already freed VF resources before this happens, then the VF remove
routine can't properly communicate with the PF driver causing all sorts
of mayhem and error messages and hurt feelings.
To fix this, we move the call to pci_disable_sriov() up to the top of
the function and let it complete before freeing any VF resources.

All VSIs on a VEB should either have loopback enabled or disabled, a
mixed mode is not supported for a VEB. Since our driver supports multiple
VSIs per PF that need to talk to each other make sure to enable Loopback
for the PF and FDIR VSI as well.
Also, we now have to explicitly enable Loopback mode otherwise we fail
VSI creation for VMDq and VF VSIs.

VF interrupt processing takes a looooong time, and it's possible that we
could lose a VFLR event if it happens while we're processing a VFLR on
another VF. This would leave the VF in a semi-permanent reset state,
which would not be cleared until yet another VF experiences a VFLR.
To correct this situation, we enable the VFLR interrupt cause before we
begin processing any pending resets. This means that any VFLR that
occurs during reset processing will generate another interrupt and this
routine will get called again.
This change may cause a spurious interrupt when multiple VFLRs occur
very close together in time. If this happens, then this routine will be
called again and it will detect no outstanding VFLR events and do
nothing. No harm, no foul.

As per the Documentation/timers/timers-howto.txt it is preferred to use
usleep_range() instead of udelay() if the delay value is > 10us in
non-atomic contexts.
So, replacing all the instances of udelay() with 10 or greater than 10
micro seconds delay in the driver and using usleep_range() instead.

Change vsi->num_queue_pairs to equal the number that are configured
by the VF. This, in turn, limits the number of queues that are
enable/disabled. This fixes the mismatched case for when a VF configures
fewer queues than is allocated to it by the PF.
Change other sections to use alloc_queue_pairs as warranted.

In some functions we might be doing potential dereference
without a check. This patch puts the check in place for all these
functions. Also fix the "for loops" so that we increment VF at the
right place so that we always do it even if we are short-circuiting
the loop through continue.

Whenever we get a Tx hang we issue a PFR, which means we send AQ
messages to VFS about the reset coming. Unfortunately with the recent
fix to be able to send messages to all VFS which earlier was not
happening at all we now are sending messages to not just the VFS that
are up but also to VFS that are not up. AQ complains about this and
sends us an error in ARQ called LAN overflow event for a queue. We
check if the queue belongs to a VF and if it does we try to send a
vc_notify_vf_reset message to that VF. Well if the VF is not up/enabled
we will be entering this function with a non-active VF id. In this
function we were assuming VF struct is populated but it won't be if
the VF is not active.

Remove the ability of a VF to set unicast promiscuous mode.
Considered to be a security risk to allow VFs to receive traffic
intended for other VFs so don't allow it, simply ignore the flag.
Also fix it to send the correct seid to aq for multicast promiscuous set.

If the host VMM administrator has changed the VF device's MAC address then
the i40e driver needs to halt the VF device so that the administrator will
be forced to reload the VF driver. This will cause the VF driver to start
using the newly assigned MAC address. This brings the i40e driver into
conformance with operational characteristics of other Intel SR-IOV
featured drivers.

Set appropriate fields in Tx queue configuration virtchnl message
to pf to enable headwb and setup headwb addr.
Then use that info from the VF to set headwb and headwb_addr instead of
always enabling them.

Delete all the old and stale MAC filters for the VF VSI when the host
administrator changes the VF MAC address from under its feet. Also don't
bother to add a filter for the VSI when its going to go away anyway.
Just record the new address and punch the VF reset.

Our hardware supports VF antispoofing for both MAC addresses and VLANs.
Enable this feature by default for all VFs and implement the netdev op
to control it from the command line.

In order for the VF to achieve its programmed Tx rate, we need to set
the max credits value to 4. While we're at it, get rid of some magic
numbers.
