The MPIDR contains specific bitfields(MPIDR.Aff{2..0}) which uniquely
identify a CPU, in addition to some non-identifying information and
reserved bits. The ARM cpu binding defines the 'reg' property to only
contain the affinity bits, and any cpu nodes with other bits set in
their 'reg' entry are skipped.
As such it is not necessary to mask the phys_id with MPIDR_HWID_BITMASK,
and doing so could lead to matching erroneous CPU nodes in the device
tree. This patch removes the masking of the physical identifier.

The PCI devices with DMA masks smaller than 32bit should enable
CONFIG_ZONE_DMA. Since the recent change of page allocator, page
allocations via dma_alloc_coherent() with the limited DMA mask bits
may fail more frequently, ended up with no available buffers, when
CONFIG_ZONE_DMA isn't enabled. With CONFIG_ZONE_DMA, the system has
much more chance to obtain such pages.

The failures of buffer preallocations at driver initializations aren't
critical but it's still helpful to inform, so that user can know that
something doesn't work as expected.
For example, the recent page allocator change triggered regressions,
but developers didn't notice until recently because the driver didn't
complain.

This patch adds a "status" attribute for an ACPI device. This status
attribute shows the value of the _STA object. The _STA object returns
current status of an ACPI device: enabled, disabled, functioning,
present.

Some BIOSes change hardware based on the state of
a laptop's lid. If the lid is closed, the touchpad is
disabled and the checksum changes. Windows 8 no longer
aborts resume if the checksum has changed.

Enhance ACPI CPU hotplug driver to print clear error message and
bail out early if BIOS returns wrong value in ACPI MADT table or
_MAT method. Otherwise it will add the CPU device even if failed
to get APIC ID and fails any operations against sysfs interface:

In the latest firmware the clear_pxe_mode function will use the
AdminQ request, so call this after AdminQ is set up rather than

If the IPV6EXADD bit is set in the Rx descriptor status, there
was an optional extension header with an alternate IP address
detected. The HW checksum offload doesn't handle the alternate
IP address correctly so likely comes up with the wrong answer.
Thus, if the bit is set we ignore the checksum offload value.

If you use ip to change the MAC address of a VF while the VF
driver is loaded, closing the VF interface or unloading the VF
driver will cause the VF driver to remove the MAC filter for its
original (now invalid) MAC address. This would cause the PF
driver to kick an error message to the log, and back to the VF
driver.
Since the VF driver has not really done anything naughty, let's
not punish it. Don't check for MAC address overrides on the
delete operation, just make sure it's a valid address. This keeps
us from spamming the log with confusing errors.

Fix a bug where the driver was erroneously exiting the driver unload
path if one part of the unload failed. Instead of the original way
the driver should always continue when disabling and be sure to disable
all queues.

Subsystems such as ALSA, DRM and others require a single card-level
device structure to represent a subsystem. However, firmware tends to
describe the individual devices and the connections between them.
Therefore, we need a way to gather up the individual component devices
together, and indicate when we have all the component devices.
We do this in DT by providing a "superdevice" node which specifies
the components, eg:

The superdevice is declared into the component support, along with the
subcomponents. The superdevice receives callbacks to locate the
subcomponents, and identify when all components are present. At this
point, we bind the superdevice, which causes the appropriate subsystem
to be initialised in the conventional way.
When any of the components or superdevice are removed from the system,
we unbind the superdevice, thereby taking the subsystem down.

If the system is booted with some CPUs offline C1E promotion disable quirk
won't be applied because on_each_cpu() in intel_idle_cpuidle_driver_init()
operates only on online CPUs. Fix it by adding the C1E promotion disable
handling to intel_idle_cpu_init() (which is also called during CPU_ONLINE
operation).

acpi_processor_hotplug() calls acpi_processor_setup_cpuidle_cx()
without calling acpi_processor_setup_cpuidle_states() first so it
is possible that dev->state_count becomes different from
drv->state_count (in case of SMP system with unsupported C2/C3
states + enabled CPU hotplug and num_online_cpus() becoming > 1).
The driver code assumes that cpuidle core will handle such cases
but currently this is untrue (dev->state_count is used only for
handling cpuidle state sysfs entries and drv->state_count is used
for all other cases) and will not be fixed in the future as
dev->state_count is planned to be removed.
Fix the issue by checking for the max supported idle state in
C2/C3 state's ->enter handler (acpi_idle_enter_simple() for C2/C3
and acpi_idle_enter_bm() for C3 + bm_check flag set) and setting
the C1 state (instead of higher states) when needed.
Also remove no longer needed max idle state checks from
acpi_processor_setup_cpuidle_[states,cx]().

The EXYNOS cpuidle driver code assumes that cpuidle core will handle
dev->state_count smaller than drv->state_count but currently this is
untrue (dev->state_count is used only for handling cpuidle state sysfs
entries and drv->state_count is used for all other cases) and will not
be fixed in the future as dev->state_count is planned to be removed.
Fix the issue by checking for the max supported idle state in AFTR
state's ->enter handler (exynos4_enter_lowpower()) and entering AFTR
mode only when cores other than CPU0 are offline.

It can be a problem when a pattern is loaded via the firmware interface.
LP55xx common driver has already locked the mutex in 'lp55xx_firmware_loaded()'.
So it should be deleted.
On the other hand, locks are required in store_engine_load()
on updating program memory.

Make tcp-metrics source-address aware
Currently tcp-metrics only stores per-destination addresses. This brings
problems, when a host has multiple interfaces (e.g., a smartphone having
WiFi/3G):
For example, a host contacting a server over WiFi will store the tcp-metrics
per destination IP. If then the host contacts the same server over 3G, the
same tcp-metrics will be used, although the path-characteristics are completly
different (e.g., the ssthresh is probably not the same).
In case of TFO this is not a problem, as the server will provide us a new cookie
once he saw our SYN+DATA with an incorrect cookie.
It may be (in case of carrier-grade NAT), that we keep the same public IP but
have a different private IP. Thus, we better reuse the old cookie even if our
source-IP has changed. However, this scenario is probably very uncommon, as
carriers try to provide the same src-IP to the clients behind their CGN.
Patches 1 + 2 add the source-IP to the tcp metrics.
Patches 3 to 5 modify the netlink-api to support the source-IP. From now on,
when using the command "ip tcp_metrics delete address ADDRESS" all entries
which match this destination IP will be deleted.
Today's iproute2 will complain when doing "ip tcp_metrics flush PREFIX" if
several entries are present for the same destination-IP but with different
source-IPs:

As we now can have multiple entries per destination-IP, the "ip
tcp_metrics delete address ADDRESS" command deletes all of them.

This patch adds a new netlink attribute for the source-IP and appends it
to the netlink reply. Now, iproute2 can have access to the source-IP.

We add the source-address to the tcp-metrics, so that different metrics
will be used per source/destination-pair. We use the destination-hash to
store the metric inside the hash-table. That way, deleting and dumping
via "ip tcp_metrics" is easy.
