03f51d4efa powerpc updates for 4.16
Highlights:

  - Enable support for memory protection keys aka "pkeys" on Power7/8/9 when
    using the hash table MMU.

  - Extend our interrupt soft masking to support masking PMU interrupts as well
as "normal" interrupts, and then use that to implement local_t for a ~4x
speedup vs the current atomics-based implementation.

  - A new driver "ocxl" for "Open Coherent Accelerator Processor Interface
    (OpenCAPI)" devices.

  - Support for new device tree properties on PowerVM to describe hotpluggable
    memory and devices.

  - Add support for CLOCK_{REALTIME/MONOTONIC}_COARSE to the 64-bit VDSO.

  - Freescale updates from Scott:
"Contains fixes for CPM GPIO and an FSL PCI erratum workaround, plus a
       minor cleanup patch."

As well as quite a lot of other changes all over the place, and small fixes and
 cleanups as always.

600ecc1936 powerpc/boot/dts: Remove leading 0x and 0s from bindings notation
Improve the DTS files by removing all the leading "0x" and zeros to
fix the following dtc warnings:

Warning (unit_address_format): Node /XXX unit name should not have leading "0x"

and:

Warning (unit_address_format): Node /XXX unit name should not have leading 0s

Converted using the following command:

  find . -type f \( -iname *.dts -o -iname *.dtsi \) -exec sed -E -i -e "s/@0x([0-9a-fA-F\.]+)\s?\{/@\L\1 \{/g" -e "s/@0+([0-9a-fA-F\.]+)\s?\{/@\L\1 \{/g" {} +

For simplicity, two sed expressions were used to solve each warnings
separately.

To make the regex expression more robust a few other issues were
resolved, namely setting unit-address to lower case, and adding a
whitespace before the the opening curly brace:

  https://elinux.org/Device_Tree_Linux#Linux_conventions

This is a follow up to commit 4c9847b737 ("dt-bindings: Remove
leading 0x from bindings notation")

c8ae67fe02 powerpc: dts: P1010: Add endianness property to flexcan node
The flexcan driver assumed that flexcan controller is big endian for
powerpc architecture and little endian for other architectures.

But this is not universally true. flexcan controller can be little or
big endian on any architecture.

Therefore the flexcan driver has been modified to check for "big-endian"
device tree property for controllers that are big endian.

consequently add the property to freescale P1010 SOC device tree.

b24413180f License cleanup: add SPDX GPL-2.0 license identifier to files with no license
Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.

By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.

Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.

This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.

How this work was done:

Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
 - file had no licensing information it it.
 - file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
 - file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,

Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.

The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.

The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.

Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
 - Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
 - Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
   lines of source
 - File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
   lines).

All documentation files were explicitly excluded.

The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.

 - when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
   COPYING file license applied.

For non */uapi/* files that summary was:

   SPDX license identifier # files
   ---------------------------------------------------|-------
   GPL-2.0 11139

and resulted in the first patch in this series.

If that file was a */uapi/* path one, it was "GPL-2.0 WITH
Linux-syscall-note" otherwise it was "GPL-2.0". Results of that was:

   SPDX license identifier # files
   ---------------------------------------------------|-------
   GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 930

and resulted in the second patch in this series.

 - if a file had some form of licensing information in it, and was one
of the */uapi/* ones, it was denoted with the Linux-syscall-note if
any GPL family license was found in the file or had no licensing in
it (per prior point). Results summary:

   SPDX license identifier # files
   ---------------------------------------------------|------
   GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 270
   GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 169
   ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-2-Clause) 21
   ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 17
   LGPL-2.1+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 15
   GPL-1.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 14
   ((GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 5
   LGPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 4
   LGPL-2.1 WITH Linux-syscall-note 3
   ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR MIT) 3
   ((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) AND MIT) 1

and that resulted in the third patch in this series.

 - when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became
   the concluded license(s).

 - when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.

 - In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).

 - When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.

 - If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
   in time.

In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.

Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.

Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.

In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.

Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
 - a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
   license ids and scores
 - reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
 - reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
   SPDX license was correct

This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.

These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

that use #include <...> for that.

adeb8667ea powerpc/44x: Add generic compatible string for I2C EEPROM
The at24 driver allows to register I2C EEPROM chips using different vendor
and devices, but the I2C subsystem does not take the vendor into account
when matching using the I2C table since it only has device entries.

But when matching using an OF table, both the vendor and device has to be
taken into account so the driver defines only a set of compatible strings
using the "atmel" vendor as a generic fallback for compatible I2C devices.

So add this generic fallback to the device node compatible string to make

d5d332d3f7 devicetree: Move include prefixes from arch to separate directory
We use a directory under arch/$ARCH/boot/dts as an include path
that has links outside of the subtree to find dt-bindings from under
include/dt-bindings. That's been working well, but new DT architectures
haven't been adding them by default.

Recently there's been a desire to share some of the DT material between
arm and arm64, which originally caused developers to create symlinks or
relative includes between the subtrees. This isn't ideal -- it breaks
if the DT files aren't stored in the exact same hierarchy as the kernel
tree, and generally it's just icky.

As a somewhat cleaner solution we decided to add a $ARCH/ prefix link
once, and allow DTS files to reference dtsi (and dts) files in other
architectures that way.

Original approach was to create these links under each architecture,
but it lead to the problem of recursive symlinks.

As a remedy, move the include link directories out of the architecture
trees into a common location. At the same time, they can now share one
directory and one dt-bindings/ link as well.

dropped support for class-based instantiation of devices a long time
ago.

5edc2aae16 powerpc/dts: fix STMicroelectronics compatible strings
Replace the non-standard vendor prefix stm and st-micro with st for
STMicroelectronics. The drivers do not specify the vendor prefixes
since the I2C Core strips them away from the DT provided compatible
string. Therefore, changing existing device trees does not have any
impact on device detection.

97493e2e9e powerpc/86xx: Add support for Emerson/Artesyn MVME7100
Add support for the Artesyn MVME7100 Single Board Computer.

The MVME7100 is a 6U form factor VME64 computer with:

    - A two e600 cores Freescale MPC8641D CPU
    - 2 GB of DDR2 onboard memory
    - Four Gigabit Ethernets
    - Five 16550 compatible UARTs
    - One USB 2.0 port
    - Two PCI/PCI eXpress Mezzanine Card (PMC/XMC) Slots
    - A DS1375 Real Time Clock (RTC)
    - 512 KB of Non-Volatile Memory (NVRAM)
    - Two 64 KB EEPROMs
    - 128 MB NOR and 4/8 GB NAND Flash

This patch is based on linux-4.7-rc1 and has been only boot tested.

Limitations:
This patch covers only models 171 and 173
No plans to support CPLD timers

Know issues:
All four PHYs work in polling mode

Configuration is missing for:
PCI IDSEL and PCI Interrupt definition

Support is missing for:
Cache and memory controllers (which are very similar to the 85xx ones
but right now I don't know if we can re-use their support)
Watchdog, USB, NVRAM, NOR, NAND, EEPROMs, VME, PMC/XMC and RTC

5b01310cfc powerpc/sbc8641: drop bogus PHY IRQ entries from DTS file
This file was originally cloned off of the MPC8641D-HPCN reference
platform, which actually had a PHY IRQ line connected. However this
board does not. The bogus entry was largely inert and went undetected
until commit 321beec504 ("net: phy: Use
interrupts when available in NOLINK state") was added to the tree.

With the above commit, the board fails to NFS boot since it sits waiting
for a PHY IRQ event that of course never arrives. Removing the bogus
entries from the DTS file fixes the issue.

e8c4b3dfe1 powerpc: Add a vga alias node for P1022
In u-boot, when set the video as console, the name 'vga' is used
as a general name for the video device, during the fdt_fixup_stdout
process, the 'vga' name is used to search in the dtb to setup the
'linux,stdout-path' node. Though the P1022 DIU is not VGA-compatible
device, to meet the 'vga' name used in u-boot, the vga alias node is
added for P1022 in this patch. At the same time, a display alias is
also added so that no other components grow dependencies on the vga
alias node.
