d9bc4b9b69 ath10k: fix firmware recovery with ap interface
Beacon data wasn't properly cleared during early
phase of recovery. This in turn caused firmware to
crash because the beacon data was submitted before
vdevs were fully re-configured. Ultimately the
device was considered wedged and nothing worked
until driver was reloaded.

ec6bc5523b ath10k: make sure to not leak beacon dma mapping
If for some reason mac80211 wouldn't stop
beaconing gracefully and just removed interface of

leak pending beacon DMA mapping. It's very
unlikely but better safe than sorry.

216a18367a ath10k: skip suspending when recovering
It doesn't make much sense to even try suspending
the device when recovering. Recovering means the
device is unresponsive and waiting for suspend
procedure means taking a 3 second timeout waiting

This speeds up firmware recovery significantly.

7710cd2e24 ath10k: don't wait for device init if it crashed
When warm resetting it's possible for device to

d650097bfa ath10k: refactor radar detection code
If 20MHz CAC completed successfully then
subsequent CAC with wider bandwidth (40Mhz, 80Mhz)
with identical control frequency did not start
monitor vdev making it impossible to detect any
radar pulses during intended CAC.

It also was incorrect to assume ath10k_config() will
be called after CAC is finished. Theoretically for
non-HT channels nothing changes between CAC and
start_ap() (albeit in practice this can be
different). The incorrect assumption led to CAC
not being stopped on non-HT chandefs leading to
all Rx being drooped making it impossible for
clients to associate.

While at it clean up the code a bit.

1bbc09752d ath10k: refactor monitor code
It was possible to create/delete/start/stop
monitor vdev from a few places that were not
exclusively protected against each other. This
resulted in monitor vdev being stopped/removed by
one call origin while another one was expecting it
to continue running.

For example if CAC was started and interface's
promiscuous mode was toggled monitor vdev was
removed from the driver meaning no radar would be
detected. In additional a warning would be printed
upon CAC completion complaining it tried to stop
non-running monitor vdev.

The patch simplifies monitor code by removing
IEEE80211_HW_WANT_MONITOR_VIF (which wasn't really
ever needed) and improves state tracking. It also
unifies prints.

df5e85250a ath10k: deinit copy engine before resetting
Since copy engine allocation has been revised the
ath10k_pci_ce_deinit() now simply zeroes copy
engine registers. It's probably a good idea to do
that before reseting for a more graceful device
reset.

Before ath10k_pci_ce_deinit() freed copy engine
ringbuffer memory so it was required to call it
after resetting. Otherwise it was possible for
device to access unmapped/freed copy engine
ringbuffer memory.

25d0dbcbd5 ath10k: split ce initialization and allocation
Definitions by which copy engine structure are
allocated do not change so it doesn't make much
sense to re-create those structures each time
device is booted (e.g. due to firmware recovery).

This should decrease chance of memory allocation
failures.

While at it remove per_transfer_context pointer
indirection. The array has been trailing the copy
engine ringbuffer structure anyway. This also
saves pointer size worth of bytes for each copy
engine ringbuffer.

2289188c27 ath10k: fix rssi and rate reporting
RSSI and RATES fields are valid only when START_VALID
bit is set. So, in current implementation we have to
remember/caclulate them when START_VALID and report the same
when only END_VALID is set.
Currently during heavy traffic we could have:
- 10 packets with START_VALID - correct RSSI and RATES
- 10 packets with END_VALID
- 10 packets with START_VALID - correct RSSI and RATES
- 10 packets with END_VALID
...
Next using monitor interface we will see:
- 10 packets with correct rssi/rates
- 10 packets with rssi=-95/rate=6Mbps

8c65699274 ath10k: add soft/hard firmware crash option to simulate_fw_crash
Command WMI_FORCE_FW_HANG_CMDID is not supported in firmware 10.1.
In order to have firmware crash simulation functionality also
in firmware 10.1 driver can force firmware crash by performing not allowed
operation. Driver can deliberately crash firmware when setting vdev param for
vdev id out of range. This patch introduces two keywords to simulate_fw_crash:

'soft' which will cause firmware crash that is recoverable
by warm firmware reset but supported only in main firmware.
'hard' which will cause firmware crash recoverable by cold
firmware reset, this option works for both firmwares.

Commands to trigger firmware soft/hard crash:

2f5280da40 ath10k: remove pci completion list
One of the premises was to guarantee serialized
completion handling for upper layers
(HTC/WMI/HTT). Since quite some time now it is no
longer necessary.

The other premise was to batch up tx/rx
completions to take advantage of hot caches.
However frame tx/rx completion indications come in
on a single pipe already so they are already
batched up. More meaningful batching is done in
HTT itself.

This means PCI completion is no longer necessary
to keep around. It just wastes memory, cycles and
SLOC.

a16942e630 ath10k: bypass htc for htt tx path
Going through full htc tx path for htt tx is a
waste of resources. By skipping it it's possible
to easily submit scatter-gather to the pci hif for
reduced host cpu load and improved performance.

The new approach uses dma pool to store the
following metadata for each tx request:
 * msdu fragment list
 * htc header
 * htt tx command

The htt tx command contains a msdu prefetch.
Instead of copying it original mapped msdu address
is used to submit a second scatter-gather item to
hif to make a complete htt tx command.

The htt tx command itself hands over dma mapped
pointers to msdus and completion of the command
itself doesn't mean the frame has been sent and
can be unmapped/freed. This is why htc tx
completion is skipped for htt tx as all tx related
resources are freed upon htt tx completion
indication event (which also implicitly means htt
tx command itself was completed).

Since now each htt tx request effectively consists
of 2 copy engine items CE_HTT_H2T_MSG_SRC_NENTRIES
is updated to allow maximum of
TARGET_10X_NUM_MSDU_DESC msdus being queued. This
keeps the tx path resource management simple.

748afc4735 ath10k: implement and use new beacon method
Until now ath10k used a copy-by-value beacon
submission.

The new method passes a DMA address via WMI
command only. This command contains additional
metadata that fixes AP behaviour with regard
to powersave buffering.

This also fixes strange bug when multicast traffic
would freeze TX indefinitely.

c2df44b39b ath10k: implement AP CSA
Most channel switching logic has been implemented
already so this patch is pretty small. The patch
makes use of mac80211's vif->csa_active for AP CSA
handling.

c930f744bd ath10k: implement channel switching
Until now channel change wasn't propagating to FW
directly because operational channel is abstracted
by VDEVs and it wasn't really necessary since
ath10k implements hwscan and hwroc.

This effectively fixes STA CSA and allows for
future AP-like CSA as well.

5ba88b395c ath10k: fix the printing of 10.x FW version when FW crashed
10.x FW has no structure member sw_version_1. Thus,
both fw_version_release and fw_version_build are not
available. The provided fw_version_major is also wrong.
Fix this by using the fw_version from struct wiphy.

d3d3ff42d9 ath10k: AP mode, set UAPSD params correctly
ath10k handles UAPSD completly in the firmware.
When works in AP mode we have to configure
UAPSD params for each station. Without this
patch we configure UAPSD params before we
send peer assoc command to the FW, which was
wrong. Next FW didn't know what should be trigger
frame, couse UAPSD didn't work correctly in AP mode.
To configure UAPSD params correctly we have to
send them after peer assoc command.

5a13e76eca ath10k: enable firmware STA quick kickout
Firmware has a feature to track if the associated STA is not acking the frames.
When that happens, the firmware sends WMI_PEER_STA_KICKOUT_EVENTID event to the
host. Enable that to faster detect when a STA has left BSS without sending a
deauth frame.

Also set huge keepalive timeouts to avoid using the keepalive functionality in
the firmware.
