- Implement user_access_begin() and friends for our platforms that support controlling kernel access to userspace. - Enable CONFIG_VMAP_STACK on 32-bit Book3S and 8xx. - Some tweaks to our pseries IOMMU code to allow SVMs ("secure" virtual machines) to use the IOMMU. - Add support for CLOCK_{REALTIME/MONOTONIC}_COARSE to the 32-bit VDSO, and some other improvements. - A series to use the PCI hotplug framework to control opencapi card's so that they can be reset and re-read after flashing a new FPGA image. As well as other minor fixes and improvements as usual. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
