The object-size sanitizer is redundant to -Warray-bounds, and inappropriately performs its checks at run-time when all information needed for the evaluation is available at compile-time, making it quite difficult to use: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=214861 With -Warray-bounds almost enabled globally, it doesn't make sense to keep this around. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
