Correct stream detection by initializing the structure pqi_scsi_dev_raid_map_data to 0s. When the OS issues SCSI READ commands, the driver erroneously considers them as SCSI WRITES. If they are identified as sequential IOs, the driver then submits those requests via the RAID path instead of the AIO path. The 'is_write' flag might be set for SCSI READ commands also. The driver may interpret SCSI READ commands as SCSI WRITE commands, resulting in IOs being submitted through the RAID path. Note: This does not cause data corruption. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the reStructuredText markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
