This introduces an interface for user space to directly communicate on rpmsg endpoints without the implementation of specific kernel drivers, which is useful for e.g. debug channels. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAABAgAGBQJYre9DAAoJEAsfOT8Nma3FGdIP/1PJ9ghIZxuW68jsA/BQKY/d RLFDqJ8sPXiE/+TimcvPtnibEc/h6UGbUFcQGaTv1hlYI7WMCbsdIIAZap2kt5Bt kaXcT5/A7O8nG0Je2/v17g7GLLkHRzNDp9F3ZrTo+PGROtLNS7AkIJ6eQo8+QKfw ZoV0t1YS6v78iVKgUuqhtcbh/KpTYewVosBBzyAd2YSr243qr8btWMXh8MPjA1rd hVVbkk8L5LPg5syEOOA2SAHyRl6m5f6JycEZiLpup6D6kwKKRkd+RTR1DrSKl6cL Yus304YD/kKBaZkj0nluCPHof3WWb9SLggHIP7BKLPjIgHn3tW5TB45JeZarpTkX T22uRt8zy0T9BsZy5d3uA5s5C2gUXw30fO/GAOtZ0kZ9aohTP+FnGe70t7oQ1oxr bCU8kqM2jhlj26r0NZSKeiGt48LZM9xKKdluI4Bqtb/meTSm4FtNPAZ87grPjaEv aa4qTNovkLuhBzx/tWfMEYvfSy4+17wuQJWWJ3RvZZhUpl+/djMf6ajFfVbofC/d HlGtQi7qI8ultCtANp8r9ieKhTyPtC+ayDW8t0yWYJX10JlTLFMdhmvVyXIvV9sN scuLLiJ1rY+nLcY/PDwbQwerOB5uZz0WdmsLdveIjG9At6U5+aWLjFqBKo1mCnK8 x2OHMikziXwiWMo5L7C0 =Lcxr -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'rpmsg-v4.11' of git://github.com/andersson/remoteproc Pull rpmsg updates from Bjorn Andersson: "This introduces an interface for user space to directly communicate on rpmsg endpoints without the implementation of specific kernel drivers, which is useful for e.g. debug channels: * tag 'rpmsg-v4.11' of git://github.com/andersson/remoteproc: rpmsg: rpmsg_create_ept() returns NULL on error rpmsg: qcom: smd: Return positively when not enabled rpmsg: unlock on error in rpmsg_eptdev_read() rpmsg: char: add CONFIG_NET dependency rpmsg: smd: Register rpmsg user space interface for edges rpmsg: Driver for user space endpoint interface rpmsg: qcom_smd: Implement endpoint "poll" rpmsg: Introduce "poll" to endpoint ops rpmsg: qcom_smd: Add support for "label" property |

Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
