Davide Caratti 11a94d7fd8 net/sched: act_ife: validate the control action inside init()
the following script:

 # tc qdisc add dev crash0 clsact
 # tc filter add dev crash0 egress matchall \
 > action ife encode allow mark pass index 90
 # tc actions replace action ife \
 > encode allow mark goto chain 42 index 90 cookie c1a0c1a0
 # tc action show action ife

had the following output:

 IFE type 0xED3E
 IFE type 0xED3E
Error: Failed to init TC action chain.
We have an error talking to the kernel
 total acts 1

action order 0: ife encode action goto chain 42 type 0XED3E
         allow mark
          index 90 ref 2 bind 1
         cookie c1a0c1a0

Then, the first packet transmitted by crash0 made the kernel crash:

Validating the control action within tcf_ife_init() proved to fix the
above issue. A TDC selftest is added to verify the correct behavior.

Fixes: 97763dc0f4 ("net_sched: reject unknown tcfa_action values")

Linux kernel
============

There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.

In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:

    https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/

There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
