47ee210011 dmaengine: milbeaut-xdmac: Convert to platform remove callback returning void
The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes
many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by
returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart
from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks.

To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return
void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to
.remove_new(), which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers
are converted, .remove_new() will be renamed to .remove().

There is an error path that has the above mentioned problem. This patch
only adds a more drastic error message. To properly fix it,
dmaengine_terminate_sync() must be known to have succeeded (or that it's
safe to not call it as other drivers seem to assume).

d645148cc8 dmaengine: milbeaut-xdmac: Fix a resource leak in the error handling path of the probe function
'disable_xdmac()' should be called in the error handling path of the
probe function to undo a previous 'enable_xdmac()' call, as already
done in the remove function.

280e7f90d4 dmaengine: milbeaut-xdmac: remove redundant irqsave and irqrestore in hardIRQ
Running in hardIRQ, disabling IRQ is redundant since hardIRQ has disabled
IRQ. This patch removes the irqsave and irqstore to save some instruction
cycles.

466f966b1f dmaengine: Replace zero-length array with flexible-array
There is a regular need in the kernel to provide a way to declare having a
dynamically sized set of trailing elements in a structure. Kernel code should
always use “flexible array members”[1] for these cases. The older style of
one-element or zero-length arrays should no longer be used[2].
